Abstract

The purpose of our study was to prevent, to correct the appearance, to im-
prove the development of flat feet at pre-school age. The survey was made ques-
tionnaire and the form of a foot print on two occasions two months apart. The
development was followed by the experimental group, in which 25 children
participated. The control group included 42 kindergarteners. During the surveys,
we found differences in age, gender, degree of flat feet in two feet. The obtained
data were evaluated in a five-point scale. Two months later the experimental
group has definitely changed. The first measurement data showed that the con-
trol group had better results than the experimental group. In the second study,
however, children who were in the experimental group had higher average re-
sults in the footprint than the children who participated in the control group.
