Abstract

Between 1948-2008, through 60 years, PE teacher training was going on
Eszterházy Károly Főiskola. The paper reviews the training plans used in the
course of the education, the laws creating them, orders other documents.
The change of the training construction from the half-period until the two-
subject training, the numbers of lessons and the increase of the number of the
taught objects characterize it the training continuous that of getting modernized,
his constant alignment to the social requirements.
Onto the primary schools' top division the training structure meeting the
claims of the public education the best took shape with the 1964 transformation
of happening teacher training. The academic specialisation pair made the
teachers' most economical application possible in the schools. The content of the
training prepared the listeners for the high-level education of their special
subject and the respect of the psychological, pedagogic, biological features of
the age group, his characteristics in the school work.
