THE POSSIBILITY OF INQUIRING THE TEACHER-STUDENT RELATIONSHIP IN SCHOLASTIC PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Developing a suitable and principally learning-supportive teacher-student
relationship is part of the scholastic educational work. Inquiring this field has
been present in pedagogical researches fór a long time, nevertheless they u s u -
ally analyze the teacher-student relationship in its homogenous whole. Due to
the characteristics o f scholastic physical education it is worth approaching the
relationship between teacher and student on a subject-specific level, since the
methodology, the developmental tasks and the desired aims regarding the content
area of physical education and sport show a significant difference compared to
other school subjects.
The authors of this study aimed to examine the applicability o f a measuring
instrument and get experience about the dimensions measured by the questionna-
ire. The teacher-student relationship can be examined specifically with this mea-
suring instrument.
