Abstract

Correspondingly with other human activities sport affects its physical
environment as well independently if it is the work of a club or internation-
al competition or the Olympic Movement. Through the last few years the
environmental protection aspect of the organization of Olympic events
became more emphasized and got more critics.
Further the economical and social requirements the environmental aspects
and normative of sustainability are highlighted and realized in practice thanks
to the international collaboration.
The aim of this paper is to overview those activities in chronological order
that support sustainability that is integrated to the Olympic Movement and
motivate environmental consciousness, and to certify that the environmental
protection elements appear during the organization of Olympic Games with
the fulfilled green activities of London and Beijing Olympic Games.
