The effective use of digital tools in education requires, among other things, a positive personal attitude on the part of teachers. In the field of education, a number of measurement instruments are known to measure teachers’ attitudes towards the use of ICT tools. In contrast, we find very few international studies that put physical education teachers at the center of research. The aim of the present study was to adapt the Hungarian version of the Computer Attitude Scale (CAS) to the sample of Hungarian physical education teachers (CAS-H). Our cross-sectional study included 200 teachers (62 men and 138 women, mean age = 45.12 years; SD = 10.76 years). According to our results, the items of the CAS-H 3-factor model showed a logical coherence based on their arrangement. CAS-H F1 is named for anxiety about computer use, CAS-H F2 for beliefs about the value of a computer, and CAS-H F3 for a computer as a facilitator of change. The internal consistency of CAS-H was found to be adequate (Cronbach-α = 0.536–0.808). Medium correlation values were found between the factors (r = 0,29-0,59). The CAS-H questionnaire is currently suitable for examining teachers’ ICT attitudes, however, we consider it necessary to further develop the questionnaire in order to meet the full validation requirements.
