For the attention of our authors

Only previously unpublished, original manuscripts will be accepted for publication. This is considered to be the case if the manuscript has already been published in another language, which must be indicated in the publication.

The author is primarily responsible for the veracity of the information contained in the publication and for any improper use of texts or other sources.

Following a preliminary editorial decision, manuscripts are sent to at least two reviewers, who are experts in the field, for anonymous peer review.

Upon publication, the author cedes the right of first publication (in print and electronic form) to the publisher of East Central European Historical Studies; however, she is free to decide on further publication.

By submitting a manuscript, the author accepts the journal's publication ethics statement and declare that the research and the resulting manuscript are her own intellectual property
