(The Statistical Committee of the legally united counties called Heves and Külső-Szolnok. Establishing and functioning between 1860 and 1866) This is a survey of the establishing and the early period of a local statistical committee, which preceded the 1867 foundation of the deservedly sell-known Hungarian Central Statistical Office.
