The study examines the historical, social, and pedagogical connections between football and Olympism through an interdisciplinary approach. The research employed the methodologies of history, sports science, education science, and social sciences, while analyzing contemporary sources, press materials, as well as current professional documents and regulatory frameworks. The analysis aimed to explore the relationship between football as an educational tool and the pedagogical values of Olympism, along with their impact on sports pedagogy practice. T he study introduces the triple spiral model of sports pedagogy as a novel concept, where the interconnections between sports science, education, and socio-economic relations mutually strengthen each other. The applicability of the model is demonstrated through the example of football, with special emphasis on Hungary’s historical Olympic achievements, which can serve as a motivational force in education. The findings highlight the need for closer collaboration between school physical education and sports clubs, as well as the importance of subject integration and modern pedagogical practices. It can be concluded that such an interdisciplinary approach to sports pedagogy may have significant social, health, and cultural implications. Future research directions could include examining the triple spiral model in other sports, as well as implementing theoretical findings in practice through methodological tools and training programs.
