Absztrakt

The authors visited the spruce, subalpine and alpine belts of Călimani Mts. in July 2011. From the collected 144 bryophyte taxa Marsupella apiculata, Pohlia nutans ssp. schimperi and maybe Ditrichum lineare are new to the Romanian bryoflora. Further 37 taxa are new to the Călimani Mountains, among them rare Arctic-Alpine species, like Pleurocladula albescens, Arctoa fulvella, Dicranum brevifolium, Grimmia donniana and Racomitrium microcarpon. An account on the environmental conditions of the mountains is given in the introduction.
